TEX-E Bootcamp for Climate Tech Entrepreneurship

Available to any enrolled university student, this unique climate and energy ventures workshop teaches aspiring undergrad and grad entrepreneurs how to start their energy transition initiatives. Taught collaboratively by eminent faculty from MIT and Texas universities, this annual three-day event welcomes beginners with a curiosity for climate tech.

Internship Opportunities

Connecting new talent to tomorrow’s needs, TEX-E helps arrange paid internships for students with startups and energy transition corporations as part of our programming opportunities. Internships offer valuable, hands-on experience in energy and climate tech through which students can make crucial connections, gain exposure, benefit from mentorships and access funding opportunities.

The TEX-E Prize

In this multi-round startup competition, Texas-based companies that are student-founded developing innovative technologies to advance the energy transition and address climate change have an opportunity to further their cause. Previous winners HEXAspec, Nanoborne, Pattern Materials received a total of $50,000 in cash prizes. The prize competition will occur in 2026 at CERAWeek.
