TEX-E Welcomes Taylor Chapman to Its Board of Directors

Taylor Chapman

TEX-E is pleased to welcome Taylor Chapman to its Board of Directors.

Taylor is a Houston native and investor at New Climate Ventures (NCV), where he focuses on seed-stage companies developing technologies that support decarbonization and industrial innovation. His investment experience spans sectors including advanced materials, next-generation manufacturing, and grid analytics.

As TEX-E continues to build a statewide network connecting students, founders, investors, universities, and industry leaders, Taylor brings valuable perspective from across the venture and startup ecosystem. His experience evaluating emerging technologies and supporting early-stage companies aligns closely with TEX-E’s mission of equipping the next generation of energy and climate entrepreneurs.

“TEX-E exists to help talented students transform ideas into impact,” said Sandy Guitar, Executive Director of TEX-E. “Taylor’s experience at the intersection of innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship will help strengthen the opportunities available to our Fellows and broader community.”

Taylor joins TEX-E at an exciting time as the organization expands fellowship programming, internship opportunities, entrepreneurship education, and industry engagement across Texas.

Please join us in welcoming Taylor Chapman to the TEX-E Board of Directors.
